(Kell) Drawn while listening to the song Bernadette by IAMX. He's probably flirting with Claud or Jack. Or both.

(Kell) An image set inspired dragon design. Ultimately shelved.

(Vaughny) The idea was that a tavernkeep was cursed into a humiliating shape as a witches' cauldron. He happens upon a younger man who he takes under his wing. The younger man looks up to the tavernkeep and has a bit of a crush on him. The relationship is not reciprocal, but the tavernkeep still cares about him as a friend.

(Kell) Jack is teasing Claudio here by restraining their wrists. Jack's vessel is currently in the form of a rope, and she's definitely squeezing. I'm not super happy with claudio's face in this one, something is off about their likeness.

(Kell) (presumably). A chimerical trio who used to be human. A fun detail on this one is that the animal colors are swapped around. They absolutely have some complicated sexual dynamic going on and none of them really respect each other ar all.

(Winn) "Probably the silliest thing I've put effort into in a while, [my] dear friend saw a video thumbnail from across the room and said it looks like something Lumen would wear. So I drew it! He loves femme wear."

(Kell) Of Claudio, quite literally, "Jacking off". (For context, the ghost inside Claudio's shapeshifting gun is named Jack.) The perspective is pretty extreme here, I am not satisfied with it but it was a bold choice for the sake of improvement. I can't say I regret the ambition.

(Kell) The text is from the The Front Bottoms song "Lone Star". A more symbolic piece than literal, depicting former ship captain Reed's struggles with identity and the loss of his position and vessel "the Albatross" due to mutiny. This loss has been the albatross around his neck so to speak, an emotional burden.

(Kell) Extremely silly. Drawn in a rush before work. I think I was almost late because of this.

(Kell) the animal people of course.

(Kell) Havern happened at some point. "here’s Havern, who’s an ex-noble for a reason. (he made a big scene in front of everyone at the function and all his backlogged drama blew up in his face. guess who got cursed as a result.) He runs away and becomes a bounty & beast hunter for hire. I’m considering giving him a musket, but that’s pretty unwieldy. It would make sense for him to use one, at least, since it’s equipment he’d be familiar with from sporting hunts. additionally he was a pretty low-ranking lord with no land to his name, or anything like that. (aside from his own house.) generally people from his old life already disliked him for his easily provoked attitude and open disdain for romance and pleasantries. he was really good at performing sexual favors though, even if he didn’t particularly like them either, so they kept him in mind." [The following was in tumblr tags:] "tbh his hair would have probably been better-kept during his lordship but I didn't think about it in time. today I realized curvor is over two years old. what the fuck. anyway excited to work on this guy. he's been on my mind. slightly nervous to post about his curse in-depth because he's basically mr. kink scenario. To be more specific Havern will transform against his will to suit the tastes of others, and his curse will choose a random person's desires (within proximity) to base his form off of. Unless there's someone he knows personally... the stronger the connection (good or bad!) the more priority their taste gets. He hates this but he gets really hard about it so. His relationship to his curse is a bit.........complicated. I like to draw him as a white lion beastman when I can't think of anything else, since lionmen *are* out there...looking for love... lol
FUN FACT he is Jack's Brother.

(Kell) I was exploring erotic art at the time and I was terrified to do so. But the freak inside me needed OUT.

(Kell) "Dragons! The Mourning Witch is a dragon who acts a false role of grief. She finds victims to kill so she may feast on those she feigns to mourn. She became cursed after murdering her spouse for inheritance, and has been twisted to reflect her greed. The Pelt Collector is a dragon who seeks to preserve beauty. He has fashioned himself a costume out of another dragon, and has filled his lair with taxidermy of all kinds. From bears, to wolves, to people…the collector finds nothing more delightful than the hides he takes. The origin of his curse is this obsession of his." [And, referring to the Mourning Witch concept sketches:] "I was really looking for a visual that read as obscured and anonymous. A creature driven to appear as though she is attending a funeral, without any real attachment. At a glance, her silhouette reads as humanoid from the front/back, so she could potentially use this to lure people in."
